LA CONTINUIDAD DEL HABITAR MEDIATION DEVICES

"La continuidad del habitar" mediation devices by INAS Diseño, is an interactive installation in the programme of exhibitions "habitamus" of the Centro de Extensión (Centex) of the Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Heritage of the Government of Chile. "The habitamus cycle invites us to think through different approaches to the confluences and dissensions that inhabit the space where we make ourselves public", for this the exhibition "La continuidad del habitar" consisted of the creation of furniture for interaction with the space, specifically the central hall of the Ministry, the sample had adaptable and assemblable chairs to the central staircase, which allowed to observe the luminous pieces that reacted to different stimulations of the space, through totems of interaction and at the same time the ambient noise of the main hall.
CNC manufacturing technologies and Arduino electronics were used to develop these elements.
