SOME HUMANS FOR MARS

"Humans of Mars" by MEDI (Elisava's Master's Degree in Industrial Design Engineering), as part of the opening exhibition "Mars: The Red Mirror" at the CCCB, Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona, Spain.
The project "Some Humans for Mars" attempts to find answers to the ethical questions surrounding the exploration of Mars. The opinions of experts, both philosophers and scientists, are quoted to question the rhetorics that articulate the narrative of space exploration, the effects of human practices on planet Earth and as well as the potential "colonisation of Mars".
The project also presents alternative perspectives, narratives traditionally unseen, and motivates us to question our role and responsibility in our bond with planet Earth, allowing us to maybe re-configure a narrative as a human species.
